Job summary

International Arts & Artists in Washington, DC is seeking a Director of Development to lead a comprehensive fundraising program and shift the organization toward a diversified contributed revenue base. Qualifications

• Seven or more years in nonprofit fundraising, preferably arts or international affairs.
• Proven track record in developing major gifts and grant proposals.
• Experience with diverse funding streams: foundations, government, corporate, individuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year contributed revenue plan aligned with strategic goals.
• Build a culture of philanthropy across staff and Board and manage donor stewardship.
• Lead grant writing and reporting, including major proposals and external writers.
• Grow corporate sponsorships and international partnerships for cultural diplomacy.
• Oversee major gifts program and donor engagement, including annual giving.
• Coach senior staff and staff on fundraising activities and CRM usage.
