Job summary

Islamic Association of Raleigh (IAR) in Raleigh, NC seeks a Fund Development Manager to lead fundraising, donor engagement, and communications. This full-time, in-person role requires 40 hours per week and a track record of growing annual giving, major gifts, and endowment support within a non-profit or faith-based setting.

You will build a robust campaign plan, manage donor data and CRM systems, oversee budgets, and lead a team to expand IAR’s philanthropic revenue while strengthening community

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in non-profit fundraising or external relations.
• Experience generating revenue across campaigns, events, grants, and major gifts.
• Strong proficiency with Donor CRM databases and MS Office; ability to craft compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual Fund Development plan with revenue goals.
• Lead donor engagement, communications strategy, and donor stewardship program.
• Oversee annual campaigns (Ramadan, Zakat, Sadaqah, year-end appeals) and grant management.
• Manage budget for the Fund Development department and provide data-driven reports to leadership.
• Identify and cultivate a portfolio of mid-level and prospective major donors.
