Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a temporary Fulfillment Buyer to support procurement across multiple commodities for SpaceX facilities nationwide. The 3-month onsite assignment in McGregor, TX, involves issuing POs, reviewing quotes, and resolving invoice issues while collaborating with internal teams to improve delivery and cost efficiency.

Required: a Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in supply chain, indirect purchasing experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; or 4+ years of professional experience in supply chain, production, or engineering in lieu of a degree.
• Purchasing experience, specifically related to indirect buying.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and with integrity in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and issue purchase orders timely.
• Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers.
• Review quotes for completeness and SpaceX terms.
• Resolve invoice issues and pay vendors on time.
• Expedite parts/services as needed.
• Act as internal customer service for SpaceX teams.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and procurement projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce processing time and cost.
