Job summary

US LBM is a leading distributor in the United States seeking a Fulfillment Buyer to manage procurement for fulfillment operations across multiple locations. You will place purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, monitor inventory, and coordinate with location leaders to ensure continuous product availability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and around 5 years of purchasing/inventory experience in the building materials sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control/management, materials input, or warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of the building material industry to support Supply Chain objectives.
• Proficiency with procurement software and inventory systems; advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for assigned product categories across US LBM divisions and regions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with location leaders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics teams on inventory-related tasks and costings.
• Communicate with suppliers about adjustments, deliveries, and resolutions.
• Maintain daily communications with US LBM divisions/markets regarding inventory and inbound shipping.
