Job summary

The US LBM Fulfillment Buyer is a role focused on procuring products and materials to support our fulfillment operations. This position ensures inventory levels are maintained, and orders are placed in a timely manner to meet customer demand.

You will work with fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics teams, manage supplier relationships, and implement cost-effective purchasing across divisions and regions. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years purchasing/inventory management experience.
• Knowledge of the building materials industry.
• Proficiency with procurement software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders across product categories for US LBM divisions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and prevent stockouts/overstocking.
• Coordinate with location leaders on inventory, invoicing, and costing.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Maintain daily communications with divisions on inventory and inbound shipments.
