DP World is seeking a Sales Executive for Freight Forwarding to grow the business by building strong customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across air, ocean, and road freight. This customer-facing role emphasizes onboarding and long-term account growth within a collaborative team.

The role involves visiting clients, tailoring logistics solutions, preparing quotations, and negotiating service agreements in coordination with pricing and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to develop and close new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English in an international business environment.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding (air, ocean, and road transport).
• Manage a book of business, ensuring continuous growth in volume, revenue, and margin.
• Ensure continuous growth in the customer portfolio, maintaining a healthy balance between hunting and farming activities.
• Maintain and update the CRM system daily to effectively manage the sales pipeline and accurately record activities.
• Visit prospective and existing customers regularly to build strong, long-term business relationships.
• Understand customer needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service offerings.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements in coordination with pricing and operations teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and the smooth implementation of services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer meetings, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities within the CRM system.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings when required.
