Arootah is seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer, Investments to consult for hedge funds and family offices. You will guide investment risk management, develop risk frameworks, and oversee stress testing and KPI reporting for leading clients.

Candidates should have CRO-level experience, strong quantitative skills, and programming ability (R/Python/MATLAB). This role offers high-impact advisory work with flexible engagement options.

Formación

• Relevant quantitative degree required from an accredited university.
• CFA/FRM or similar designation is desired.
• 8+ years in a Hedge Fund/Family Office or investment firm at CRO level.
• Proficient in risk frameworks, VaR, stress tests and KPI reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Advise clients on investment and portfolio risk management needs.
• Develop monthly action plans and monitor progress.
• Identify roadblocks and break goals into actions.
• Design risk framework tools for portfolio analysis.
• Run stress tests and evaluate portfolio risk across asset classes.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management and clients.

Educación

BS/BA in quantitative field

CFA/FRM preferred

MBA or quantitative master’s

8+ years CRO experience

3–5 years risk/quant/data science in asset mgmt

Strong programming (R, Python, MATLAB, VBA)

Asset classes knowledge
