Bain Capital in Boston, MA, is looking for a Senior Finance Associate in FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning for its private markets teams.

You will own the annual budget analysis, monitor reforecasts, and provide insights to senior leaders. A strong candidate has 3–6 years in FP&A or accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and advanced Excel; Anaplan is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in FP&A or accounting (public or private).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
• Sound judgment and willingness to take responsibility for decisions.
• Advanced Excel and strong financial systems skills; Anaplan experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the analysis behind the annual budget process and monitoring/reforecasting.
• Contribute to the firm’s long-term strategic plan with real-time and planned changes.
• Deliver periodic reporting to COOs and CFOs with clear trend analysis.
• Partner daily with compensation, corporate finance/accounting, and department leaders.
• Prepare journal entries to bridge tax basis P&L to management basis.
• Tackle ad hoc projects with tight timelines and broad exposure.
• Review own work and proactively flag issues, risks, and opportunities.
