Landing Point in Boston seeks a Senior FP&A Associate to lead the budgeting and forecasting for the firm's private markets businesses. You will report to the FP&A Manager and drive financial insights across planning cycles.

In this role, you will partner with compensation, corporate finance, and department leaders to ensure plans align with actuals and provide timely commentary to COOs and CFOs.

Formación

• 3-6 years of FP&A or accounting experience (public or private).
• Advanced Excel skills and solid financial systems knowledge.
• Anaplan experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the analysis behind the annual budget process and monitoring/reforecasting through the year for assigned businesses.
• Contribute to the firm's long-term strategic plan by translating real-time and planned changes into financial projections.
• Deliver periodic reporting to COOs and CFOs with thorough trend analysis.
• Partner daily with the compensation team, corporate finance/accounting, and department leaders to align plans and actuals.
• Prepare journal entries bridging the tax basis P&L to the management basis.
• Take on ad hoc projects from business units and senior leadership, often under tight timelines.
• Review work before submission and proactively flag issues, risks, and opportunities.

A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Financial Planning and Analysis group. This role will support the firm's private markets businesses and report to an FP&A Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the analysis behind the annual budget process and the monitoring and reforecasting throughout the year for assigned businesses.


• Contribute to the firm's long-term strategic plan, translating real-time and planned business changes into clear financial projections.


• Deliver periodic reporting to business unit COOs and CFOs, with thorough trend analysis.


• Partner daily with the compensation team, corporate finance/accounting, and department leaders to keep plans and actuals aligned.


• Prepare journal entries to bridge the tax basis P&L to the management basis.


• Take on ad hoc projects from business unit and senior leadership, often under tight timelines.


• Review work rigorously before it leaves the desk, and proactively flag issues, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in FP&A or accounting (public or private).


• Advanced Excel and strong financial systems skills; Anaplan experience a plus.


• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.

Compensation:

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000, Plus Bonus
