Job summary

Aon in Chicago, IL is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead FP&A activities and align financial goals with business priorities. You will drive long-term planning, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis across functions, delivering clear insights to executives.

You will coordinate SOX controls, prepare executive presentations, and drive continuous process improvements while mentoring team members and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
• 7+ years of FP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning and Analysis).
• Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint; Workday GL and TM1 a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business priorities.
• Lead long-term planning, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data, forecasts, and reporting.
• Coordinate SOX controls and support external audit processes.
• Develop executive-level presentations and consolidate data insights for leadership.
