Job summary

SoftwareOne Deutschland GmbH is seeking an FP&A Business Partner to drive financial performance and support strategic decisions. You will partner with business units to provide insights, analysis, and guidance across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance improvement.

The role requires strong FP&A experience, advanced Excel/ERP/BI skills, and the ability to communicate with senior leadership. This remote-friendly position offers a generous pay structure and opportunities to impact

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
Substantial experience in financial planning and analysis in a business partner, commercial finance, or advisory role.
Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP systems, BI tools, and other FP&A platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business leaders to develop and communicate financial plans and forecasts.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities with accuracy and alignment to priorities.
Monitor performance against budgets and explain variances with recommendations.
Conduct variance, profitability, trend, and performance analyses.
Develop and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights for senior management.
Provide financial guidance and support for initiatives and strategic decisions.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements.
Prepare and review reporting deliverables ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
Partner with Sales, Operations, IT, and other teams to support data gathering and business cases.
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and planning activities.
Travel as needed, around 10%.
