Job summary

Flagship Financial Group seeks a Lead Financial Modeler to design and own a dynamic, driver-based forecasting model that links originations, credit losses, SG&A, staffing, securitizations, liquidity, and financial performance. You will report to the CFO and be the organization’s primary modeling resource across Finance.

You will build and maintain the assumptions framework, support budgeting and long-range planning, and provide scenario analysis and strategic insights to executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, structured finance, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of consumer lending economics and securitization structures.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; multi-driver forecasting from scratch.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI/Tableau or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and own a driver-based forecasting model integrating originations, losses, SG&A, staffing, securitizations, liquidity, and performance.
• Establish assumptions framework, forecast calendar, governance, and modeling standards.
• Consolidate forecasts with FP&A leaders and business stakeholders into one enterprise model.
• Develop forecast drivers for originations, pricing, portfolio growth, OPEX, revenue, and funding.
• Incorporate credit/risk assumptions, loss curves, and reserve impacts.
