Job summary

Alamar Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on FP&A Manager to own the Workday Adaptive Planning platform, partner with business leaders, and shape the financial decisions powering our growth in Fremont, CA.

You will administer the platform, support budgets and forecasts, perform variance analyses, build models, and provide prescriptive recommendations to management. Biotech experience and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A experience
• Experience administering Workday Adaptive Planning is preferred
• Expert Excel skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive stakeholder engagement
• Biotech experience is a plus
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a technical field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer Workday Adaptive Planning platform, model architecture, integrations, data management, reporting, access, and training
• Support budgeting cycles and forecasts across functions
• Perform variance analyses against budget/forecast and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Partner with department leaders to develop financial plans and inform resource allocation
• Build financial models and ad-hoc analyses to support decision making
