Job summary

Nassau County, on-site, Nielsen Associates is seeking an FP&A Manager to join the finance team. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and strategic decision support with exposure to senior leadership across the organization.

This is a highly visible individual contributor role; you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial insights and support corporate initiatives while maintaining strong modeling and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 3-5+ years of FP&A experience.
• Consumer products industry experience strongly preferred.
• Retail experience is a big plus.
• Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial statements.
• Experience supporting business leaders and key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Local Long Island candidates strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual budgets, forecasts and long-range financial planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Analyze financial results, trends and variances.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support senior-level and board presentations.
• Perform margin, cost and other financial analyses.
• Support global financial projects and multiple business areas.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
