Job summary

HawkEye 360 seeks an FP&A Manager, Engineering & Program Finance Business Partner in Herndon, VA. This role partners with Engineering and program teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights for improved execution.

You will lead budget-to-actual analysis, labor planning, and margin modeling to support strategic decisions at executive levels. The position emphasizes collaboration across Engineering, Mission Management, and leadership, with a focus on forecast accuracy and

Qualifications

6+ years FP&A/CFO finance or program finance experience.
Experience in tech, aerospace, defense or government contracting is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
Experience with program budgets, labor planning, cost tracking or gross margin modeling.

Responsibilities

Lead Engineering budgeting and forecasting for programs and metrics.
Own budget vs. actual reporting with variance analyses.
Partner with Program Managers on labor, non-labor, capex budgets.
Develop gross margin models reflecting contracts and delivery costs.
Conduct scenario planning for revenue, resources, schedules.
Provide financial insights to Engineering leadership for long-range planning.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial packages highlighting risks and opportunities.
