Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Manager in FP&A to join the Business Unit Finance Team. You will analyze and summarize financial and operational data, support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, strategic planning, and partner with business units to achieve financial goals.

This role blends advanced analytics, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, inventory, real estate, and P&L management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Specialized technical training or knowledge of retail is a plus.
• Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Must be organized, able to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency.
• Proven ability to manage positive business partnerships in a cross-functional environment.
• Skilled in financial modeling, creating business cases, and data analysis.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops financial models and analyses for strategic initiatives and investments.
• Provide Executive summaries on indicators involving Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory, Payroll.
• Analyze complex financial data and summarize results and recommendations.
• Support Senior Management with in-depth analysis, ROI analyses, and proformas.
• Drive standardization and process improvement across planning aspects.
• Implement and work with BI tools and dashboard reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Perform special project ad-hoc reporting.
• Supports annual budget process with initiatives and trends.
• Manages a team that supports field and store leaders with ad hoc analysis.
