Job summary

Blue Owl Capital Holdings LLC in Chicago seeks a strategic Head of FP&A to lead the Real Estate Investment Trust’s planning, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role partners with leadership to drive performance, capital allocation, and reporting across the platform.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in FP&A/real estate finance, strong modeling skills, and experience with public REITs, with a track record of building scalable processes and developing senior-level insights.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience in real estate.
• Prior public REIT experience strongly preferred; IB/PE advisory with real estate considered.
• Deep understanding of NOI, FFO, AFFO, NAV, leverage, and capital structure.
• Advanced financial modeling skills for integrated forecasting and valuation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for investor materials.
• Excellent Excel and experience with planning systems (Anaplan/Adaptive/Hyperion) and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and multi-year strategic planning.
• Build property-level and consolidated financial models.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and analyze portfolio performance.
• Oversee earnings reporting, FFO/AFFO reconciliations.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting packages.
• Mentor FP&A team and establish scalable processes.
• Partner with Finance, Asset Management and IR to drive decision support.
• Benchmark against REIT peers and industry trends.
