Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with the CFO and leadership in forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. You will translate financial data into actionable insights and help shape multi-year plans across hardware-focused programs.

This role requires 6+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, with strong Excel modeling and experience in scalable budgeting processes, ideally in defense/aerospace environments. Competitive compensation and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or hardware-intensive companies preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and scalable financial models.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and oversee annual, quarterly, monthly forecasting and variance analysis across the company.
• Support CFO and executive team with Board reporting, investor materials, and financial analysis for major strategic decisions.
• Model program costs, NRE, and capital expenditures for hardware-first initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to functional teams enabling data-driven decision-making.
