Data Analysis Incorporated (DAI) in New York City seeks a Manager, FP&A for the Capital Markets Group to partner with senior leaders, provide rigorous financial analysis, and influence strategic decisions across entities.

You will own budgets, forecasts, and reporting, drive month-end close withAccounting, and deliver clear variance explanations to the executive team, with regular on-site work in NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5–7 years of progressive finance experience, FP&A or business partner roles.
• Strong technical understanding of financial statements, modeling, forecasting, budgeting.
• Experience with capital markets, financial services, or data services is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP/BI/planning tools (Dynamics 365, Power BI, Planful).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A for select business units, including variance analysis for month-end close and budgeting cycles.
• Serve as the finance partner to senior business leaders; translate performance into insights.
• Lead budgets, forecasts, and financial models for planning and scenario analysis.
• Prepare variance commentary linking results to drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Support month-end close with Accounting; validate accruals, intercompany reconciliations.
• Contribute to board reporting packages with clarity and narrative discipline.
• Manage multiple priorities; triage issues and drive resolutions with partners.
