Job summary

Factory6 is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to architect the company’s financial planning infrastructure from the ground up. The role reports to the President and focuses on budgeting, COGS, G&A, and driving revenue and profitability targets.

You will own the AOP, quarterly forecasts, and monthly closes, while building flexible models and KPI inputs across departments. This is a highly autonomous, strategic role based in Lindon, UT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A or Corporate Finance experience in manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including integrated financial statements and variance analysis
• Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software
• Must be highly autonomous and able to architect departments with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and long-range plans
• Lead cross-department budgeting aligned to growth and profitability goals
• Maintain FP&A calendar and coordinate annual plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly closes, and Board deliverables
• Develop planning templates and key assumptions to standardize methodologies
• Own the integrated financial model (IS, BS, Cash Flow) and perform scenario analyses
• Produce monthly financial reporting and lead monthly reviews with department heads
• Develop weekly cash forecasts and monitor covenant compliance
• Analyze COGS and G&A variances to protect margins and support executive decisions
