Job summary

BDO USA seeks an FP&A Business Line Leader to oversee financial analysis and planning for a specific business line. You will collaborate with line leaders to deliver insights, drive strategic decisions, and improve profitability, with responsibility for budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans across a defined client base.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in finance, strong Excel and financial systems experience (PeopleSoft/Hyperion/OneStream), and prior managerial exposure within professional

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of finance experience
• Experience in a professional services firm is preferred
• Prior managerial experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Leverages technology to research, compile and analyze financial information
• Monitors and analyzes financial performance against budgets/forecasts
• Researches and determines causes of budget variances and communicates to leaders
• Leads FP&A activities for a client base with a medium scope of responsibility
• Supports preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-term plans
• Provides financial processes/systems training to end users and seeks process improvements
• Establishes rapport with leaders and peers
• Partner with firm leaders to maximize profitability and minimize risk
