Job summary

Patterson-UTI Central Support Services, LLC is seeking a Manager Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations Analyst to support long-term strategy through rigorous financial analysis, forecasting, and capital-allocation insights. The role partners with senior leaders to drive actionable recommendations and ensure consistency in external messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A, investor relations, or related experience.
• 3+ years of financial modeling, forecasting, and executive presentations.
• 5+ years analyzing capital allocation, ROI, and peer performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and oversight of complex financial models for long-range planning.
• Analyze business unit and corporate performance, including ROIC and peer benchmarks.
• Forecast global oil and gas supply/demand and macro trends.
• Provide forward-looking insights for strategy, M&A, and capital investments.
• Support strategic planning with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare concise, executive-ready materials for the Board and investors.
• Develop scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Treasury, and other teams for alignment.
• Monitor industry trends and geographic market dynamics.
• Enhance FP&A capabilities through analytics, automation, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards and Patterson-UTI values.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
