Job summary

Patterson-UTI Management Services, LLC is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations Analyst to drive long-range planning, capital allocation decisions, and performance analysis. You will develop complex financial models, deliver insights to senior leadership, and support M&A and strategic initiatives.

The role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Finance and requires collaboration across finance, investor relations, treasury, and business-unit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, investor relations, corporate finance, capital markets, strategic finance, or corporate development.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, industry analysis, and the preparation of executive-level presentations.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing capital allocation decisions, return on investment, business performance, and peer-company results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, refinement, and oversight of complex financial models used for long-range planning, capital allocation, forecasting, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
• Lead analysis of business unit and corporate performance, including ROI, trends, and peer comparison.
• Develop forecasting models evaluating global oil and gas dynamics, macro trends, geopolitics, and implications for oilfield services.
• Provide forward-looking financial insights to inform corporate strategy, M&A, capital investments, and portfolio decisions.
• Support strategic planning with business unit leaders, ensuring alignment of forecasts and plans.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for the Board, ELT, investors, and analysts.
