Job summary

WestRock Company in Stevenson, Alabama, seeks a Finance Manager who partners with plant leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights enhancing operations and growth. You will lead key financial processes, influence strategy, and collaborate with corporate staff to provide data-driven analysis of mill operations.

The role reports to the Sr. Financial Manager and requires strong Excel/Hyperion skills, plus experience with Qlik/Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
5+ years of related experience in pulp and paper or manufacturing preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced skills in Excel and Hyperion SmartView.
Experience with Qlik, Power BI, Alteryx preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly financial closing process and generate required P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
Coordinate and generate financial reports with variance analysis and narratives.
Generate and track production and operating metrics for the mill.
Communicate monthly/quarterly results to mill and Corporate leadership.
Lead budgeting and forecasting for mill production, raw materials, labor, and related costs.
Analyze diagnostics, scorecards, and opportunities for cost reduction with Mill Leadership.
Prepare cost reports and work with leadership to identify savings opportunities.
Lead analysis of maintenance spend and capital projects with timely variances.
