Job summary

Applied Resource Group is seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead our FP&A function in Atlanta. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, partnering with executives to shape strategic decisions and performance insights.

You will build robust financial models, oversee reporting, KPI tracking, and cross-functional partnering to improve profitability and efficiency, while mentoring the FP&A team and influencing business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A leadership.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP or financial planning systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Develop financial models and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Lead and mentor FP&A team members.
