Job summary

Place Services, Inc. seeks a strategic Director of FP&A at its Woodstock, GA headquarters to build and lead the financial planning and analysis function across divisions. You will turn actuals into insight, plans and decisions, and lead the Data & IS team to ensure a single trusted data source.

This builder's role moves FP&A from reporting results to explaining why it happened and what comes next, partnering with GMs and executives to drive performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
• 10+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, including 5+ years leading a team.
• Construction industry experience required: job costing, WIP, cost-to-complete and project forecasting.
• Experience across multiple divisions or entities, including self-perform trades and general contracting.
• Proven record of building budgets, forecasts and management reporting from the ground up.
• Strong systems and data skills: Acumatica and Procore a major plus; experience with BI and dashboard tools (Power BI or similar).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Clear communicator who can explain the numbers to operations leaders and executives alike.

Responsibilities

• Co-Own the annual budget process for every division and entity; build to approval.
• Run rolling forecast of revenue, margin, overhead and cash; adapt to market changes.
• Partner with GMs and division leaders to set targets and track performance.
• Lead job audits and cost-to-complete reviews with Project Accounting and operations.
• Build new analysis and dashboards from operational insights and key business questions.
