Job summary

Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead financial management, budgeting, and strategy. You will supervise a team of three analysts and own the School’s $400M+ operating budget, multi-year plan, monthly forecasts, and leadership reporting.

The role requires translating complex financial data into clear narratives for the Dean, executives, and university leaders, with primarily remote work and periodic in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience.
• 7+ years in sponsored research finance within higher education/healthcare.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the School’s annual budget process.
• Build multi-year financial plans and scenarios.
• Develop monthly forecasts and ad hoc analyses.
• Present financial materials to senior leadership.
