Harvard University in Boston seeks a Director of Finance for the Department of Health Care Policy. You will lead all department finances across school, sponsored, gift funds and oversee accounting, procurement, and awards compliance.

This role partners with executive leadership to manage financial risk, close gaps, and guide strategic planning, while supervising a team of 4-6 grant managers and financial operations staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of sponsored research regulations.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Review and manage sponsored proposals for budget accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee post-award reporting and compliance with award terms.
• Stay current on federal and non-federal sponsor policy changes and communicate impact.
• Ensure department compliance with university and sponsor rules.
