Job summary

iCapital Network in New York is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to join Corporate Finance as Associate / AVP. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, partnering with business leads and the FP&A team to enhance decision making.

You will support monthly closes, financial modelling, and provide analytics for revenue, expenses, and KPIs. The role reports into the Senior Vice President and offers equity plus an annual bonus in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or accounting experience within the financial services industry and/or FP&A or strategic finance experience with a top-tier firm.
• Familiar with private market investments such as private equity, hedge funds, and/or structured investments is preferred.
• Experience in planning and ERP tools (i.e., WorkDay Adaptive, Tableau, Essbase) and familiar with Oracle NetSuite and/or General Ledger systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, Axiom) is preferred.
• Able to work with business/sales and department leads on business performance including budgeting, forecasting and advanced analytics.
• Advanced degree and/or credentials desired, such as MBA, CPA, CFA.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; strong organizational planning and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting of KPIs, liaising with FP&A, sales and leads, with analysis of budget vs. actuals and real-time forecasting.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget process across revenue, expenses, inputs and activity with client-level detail.
• Develop key financial and performance metrics with analytics for Management Committee and leads.
• Liaise with FP&A to develop KPIs, client analytics, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and implement new evaluation methods.
• Partner with FP&A and sales to analyze variances and insights on monthly results.
• Support monthly management and quarterly board reporting packages including consolidation and KPI reports.
