Job summary

The Casino @ Dania Beach is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a fast-paced casino environment. The role focuses on delivering actionable insights from financial and operational data to help drive informed decisions.

Responsibilities include creating models, dashboards, and KPI reports, while ensuring data integrity and supporting audits. Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus, and Florida licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related finance function.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and analysis; proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze financial and operational data, trends, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities, risks, and areas requiring management attention.
Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including preparation and maintenance of financial models, departmental assumptions, projections, and budget-to-actual tracking.
Prepare monthly and periodic variance analyses comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods; investigate significant variances and communicate findings to Finance leadership and department leaders.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, management reports, and financial and operational KPIs.
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve recurring financial reporting and analytical processes.
Perform cost-benefit analyses, scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and other financial evaluations in support of business initiatives.
Partner with department leaders and cross-functional teams to understand operational drivers and provide actionable financial insights that support informed decision-making.
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects as requested by Finance and executive leadership.
Support annual financial audits by preparing requested schedules, supporting documentation, reconciliations, analyses, and other Prepared by Client (PBC) materials. Experience supporting external audits, including Big Four audits, is preferred.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data, models, reports, and supporting documentation.
Serve as a Finance subject matter expert and key technical user for the Company's ERP and financial reporting systems. Oracle ERP experience is preferred; experience creating or modifying data cubes and financial reporting structures is a plus.
Support continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting methodologies, systems, and internal controls.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Three (3) or more years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, or a related finance function. Gaming or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and analysis; proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and business information.
Oracle ERP experience preferred. Experience creating or modifying data cubes and financial reporting structures is a plus.
Must apply for and obtain the appropriate State of Florida occupational gaming license, which includes applicable criminal background screening requirements.
