Virginia Transformer Corp. is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.

This individual will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, business analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; ERP systems and financial reporting tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
• Analyze performance, profitability, and trends to support executive decisions.
• Partner with operations, sales, supply chain, and manufacturing leaders to evaluate financial performance.
• Perform variance analysis and communicate key drivers to management.
• Support budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
• Evaluate capital investment opportunities and prepare analyses for major projects.
• Assist with pricing analysis, cost modeling and profitability reporting.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve financial visibility.
• Identify process improvements for reporting and planning activities.
• Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and other special projects.
