Job summary

CV Resources has partnered with a well-established manufacturing company to identify an experienced Senior Commercial FP&A Analyst. The role leads monthly forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analyses across revenue, margin, and operating expenses in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will develop financial models, partner with Sales for pricing strategies, and prepare executive dashboards and reports to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, commercial finance, or related finance experience (budgeting, forecasting, pricing analysis, sales reporting).
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience (cost analysis, inventory trends, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for revenue, margin, and operating expenses.
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, identifying business risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
• Partner with Sales leadership to evaluate pricing strategies and customer profitability.
• Analyze product line, channel, and customer profitability.
• Support new product introductions with financial modeling and ROI analysis.
• Monitor sales trends and market activity affecting revenue and margin performance.
• Prepare monthly business performance reports and executive presentations.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for commercial and operational teams.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to understand cost drivers.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory trends, and productivity metrics.
• Support initiatives focused on margin improvement and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Participate in ERP, BI, and financial systems projects.
