Job summary

Axogen is seeking an FP&A Analyst to drive planning, forecasting, and financial modeling. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights and support monthly forecasts, annual plans, and headcount planning in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Planful, Planful-related processes, and data projects to improve reporting accuracy, deliver timely narratives for leadership, and help optimize capital and operating expenditures while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Three to six years of FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Planful or similar planning systems.
• Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools.
• Ability to work with large datasets and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly rolling forecast, annual operating plan, and long-range planning.
• Consolidate and validate department forecast submissions and assumptions.
• Prepare monthly actuals and management reporting with variance analysis.
• Develop financial narratives for performance, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department leaders to monitor expenses and forecast accuracy.
• Maintain workforce planning models and headcount reporting with HR.
• Support capital planning, project spending, and ROI analyses.
• Build financial models and run scenario analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Act as a Planful power user and improve data validation and reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with Analytics & Data to enhance data quality and automation.
• Assist with executive and board reporting with accurate analyses.
