Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to develop and maintain financial models for headcount planning, resource allocation, and scenario analyses. You will drive month-end close and reporting, analyze variances, and communicate risks and opportunities affecting forecasts and budgets.

The role partners with stakeholders, supports capital projects, and leads process improvements to enhance forecasting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A with increasing scope and accountability.
• Experience with month-end close and management reporting (journal entries, variances, CAPEX).
• Budgeting/forecasting across OPEX, headcount, and CAPEX; knowledge of forecasting methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for headcount planning, resource allocation, scenario analyses, and business decisions.
• Drive month-end close/reporting: manage accruals/variance analytics and incorporate key business drivers into monthly commentary.
• Identify and communicate key risks, opportunities, and drivers impacting forecasts and budgets.
• Produce accurate, timely management reporting (functional expenses and resource reporting) and ensure adherence to financial controls/accounting/reporting requirements.
• Manage capital projects and operations with business stakeholders, including month-end close and planning activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial support.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance planning/forecasting/reporting and operational efficiency; document best practices.
• Lead/execute/support ad hoc Finance and business initiatives.
