Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense seeks a Financial Analyst III to drive FP&A, pricing and program finance across Warfighter Systems. You will deliver monthly results, forecast revenue and costs, and support budgeting and variance analysis with cross-functional teams. Strong modeling, Excel skills, and communication are essential.

The role reports to the Warfighter Systems Senior FP&A Manager in Roanoke, VA, and offers growth in a dynamic defense program environment with extensive analytical exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of FP&A/finance experience with reporting focus.
• Defense contracting knowledge (FAR/DFARS/CAS) is a plus but not required.
• Strong spreadsheet modeling and data analysis with high accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication of financial info.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Advanced MS Excel skills: formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly results, forecasts, and financial metrics for orders, backlog, and profitability.
• Consolidate data for monthly reviews and prepare Sales/Orders forecasts.
• Advise leadership on budget, cost variance, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with BD, Engineering, PM, and other functions on financial planning.
