Job summary

Pepper, a remote-first DTC intimate apparel brand, seeks a highly analytical Strategic Finance Associate to support planning and performance analysis. You’ll partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Executives to drive visibility into business performance, identify risks, and support execution of company priorities.

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll own forecasting, monthly closes, and scenario planning, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on analysis in a fast-paced growth

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or related roles.
• Experience in retail, consumer products, e-commerce, or high-growth environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI or other BI tools; working proficiency preferred.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative mindset with ability to tell a clear story.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain consolidated financial models and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Partner with CFO to shape annual operating and long-range plans with scenario outputs.
• Drive month-end close processes and deliver timely leadership packs.
• Lead OpEx reviews with dept leads and surface risks/opportunities.
• Own forecast accuracy and present narrative on pacing against goals.
• Translate financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
