Job summary

Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) seeks a collaborative FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in a fast-growing startup setting. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape financial direction, monitor key metrics, and help IPO readiness efforts.

The role emphasizes strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, data analytics, and the ability to deliver actionable insights to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in fast-growing startups and/or investment banking.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to handle large data sets and create ad hoc reports.
• Solid financial skills including ROI, sensitivity analysis, and complex business decisions.
• Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build flexible models; SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the annual budgeting process with cross-functional teams and prepares presentation materials.
• Conducts ad hoc strategic analyses (e.g., profitability, forecasting).
• Collaborates with functional leads to define and analyze key operational and financial KPIs.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial and metrics reporting packs for investors.
• Maintain 3-statement budget model and rolling monthly forecast.
