Job summary

Lockwood Management, LLC. is seeking a finance professional to support FP&A, strategic finance, and cross-functional initiatives. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and building financial models to guide growth decisions.

You will partner with operations and finance to translate activities into KPIs, evaluate investments using NPV/DCF/IRR, and contribute to capital planning and performance management in a dynamic real estate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in affordable housing or real estate analysis, underwriting, development, financing, or asset management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with complex financial modeling, scenario analysis, data manipulation, and reporting.
• Strong experience utilizing ERP systems and financial reporting and analytical tools, including Power BI.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and business performance drivers.
• Experience evaluating investments using NPV, DCF, IRR, and related valuation methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to translate financials into actionable insights.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A processes including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop variance analyses comparing actuals to budget, forecast, and plans.
• Create and maintain financial models for forecasting, capital allocation, and M&A.
• Translate operations into KPIs and metrics to drive performance.
