Job summary

Best Version Media is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to partner with leadership on planning, reporting, and analysis. You will own revenue forecasting, monthly closes, and incentive programs, while delivering data-driven recommendations to improve financial performance.

The role requires a strong command of Excel and financial modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of dedicated, progressive experience in an FP&A role.
• Exceptional Excel and financial modeling capabilities with a strong understanding of financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting revenue, sales, and backlog; lead annual budgeting cycles.
• Prepare monthly financial package, MD&A commentary, and board materials.
• Lead gross profit and cost analyses across each publication to improve margins.
• Track sales trends and publisher earnings, including renewals, cancellations, and collections.
• Monitor Value Creation Plan milestones and administer sales incentive models.
• Build automated Excel models and support Sage Intacct reporting and month-end close.
