Job summary

Navis Food Partners is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance reporting. The role collaborates with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to align financial plans with company objectives and drive data-informed decision-making.

The position can be based in Londonderry, NH or East Windsor, CT. The candidate should have 3+ years in financial analysis, strong Excel/Power BI skills, and experience with ERP systems and Vena for reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Analytics, Economics, Math or similar). MBA a plus but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance in food distribution, CPG, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, consolidation and reporting tools (e.g., Vena).
• Comfortable as an individual contributor supporting multiple internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year planning.
• Analyze monthly/quarterly results; compare actuals to budget/forecast; identify variances and drivers.
• Perform sales and category mix analyses to understand profit trends.
• Support scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for decisions.
• Partner with department leads to develop budgets and monitor performance; provide variance explanations.
• Produce regular financial and operational reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities for FP&A process improvements and implement enhancements.
• Participate in strategic projects including planning, M&A due diligence, and system implementations.
