Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, LP is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. The role partners with Finance and operational leaders to analyze results, develop forecasts, and provide timely insights to improve business performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business management.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process from planning through Board approval.
• Build and maintain budget and forecast templates for leaders.
• Prepare short-term forecasts using relevant drivers.
• Perform monthly variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast and highlight risks.
• Develop business cases and ad-hoc analyses for operating and capital decisions.
• Participate in long-range planning including fleet and five-year projections.
• Assist in monthly backlog reporting and related analysis.
• Create clear reports and dashboards to evaluate performance and benchmarks.
• Analyze large data sets from GL, CRM, and Excel to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collect, validate, and organize data for financial models.
• Maintain organized workpapers and meet reporting deadlines.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
