Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst - Budget to partner with leadership on G&A forecasts, budgets and cost management. You will deliver timely analyses, build Tableau dashboards, and ensure GAAP-compliant forecasting across the finance team.

This role focuses on expense forecasting, cost center hierarchy management, and system administration of Adaptive Planning, with opportunities to influence business decisions in a fast-growing data center company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance or Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Four or more years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis or a budgeting role with the ability to turn financial data into visually appealing dashboards.
• Experience in planning applications such as Adaptive Planning or Oracle PBCS; systems administration and development experience preferred.
• Experience with BI software such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business owners in development, review, analysis, and reporting of General & Administrative Expense budgets.
• Supports position management and cost center hierarchy management for the company.
• Delivers detailed monthly/quarterly/annual variance analysis for leadership insights.
• Proactively identifies risk and opportunity in the forecast for respective areas.
• Owns basic system administration of the budgeting system (Adaptive Planning) and SME for assigned areas.
• Performs financial data mining and reconciliation activities in the budgeting system.
• Develops insightful Tableau dashboards to support decision-making.
• Identifies and implements process changes for efficiency and forecast accuracy.
