Job summary

Allegacy Financial is seeking a Financial Analyst to assist in financial, statistical, analytic and asset/liability management functions. You will support the IRR model, develop budgets, and help produce routine financial reports and presentations.

The role emphasizes strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and effective communication to present complex financial information and drive strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Ability to generate/analyze data with advanced financial analysis techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of complex financial information.
• Proficient in MS Excel including macros; database skills required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on more responsibilities.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Eligible to be bonded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to internal and external members consistent with Service Promises.
• Exercise critical thinking to understand processes and identify opportunities.
• Support Senior Financial Analyst in maintaining IRR model.
• Collaborate to ensure modeling assumptions are accurate and drive strategic actions.
• Analyze financial information and advise based on best practices aligned with company goals.
• Assist with development of organizational budgets.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and teams.
• Plan and monitor timelines to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare information for routine financial reports, analysis, and presentations.
• Monitor key performance metrics and communicate insights to management.
• Perform trend and variance analysis, modeling, and what-if scenarios.
• Build relationships across Allegacy Financial as a business partner.
• Manage special project assignments as requested.
• Assist coordination with NCUA examiners and external auditors.
• Monitor and reconcile investment portfolio.
