Job summary

Siemens Energy invites a Finance Analyst to join a dynamic FP&A team in the United States. You will drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis, partnering with finance, operations, and leadership to optimize performance and ensure GAAP compliance.

You will support pricing, headcount reporting, and executive-level financial summaries, while coaching junior staff and collaborating with auditors. A CPA/CMA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification preferred
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related finance role with increasing responsibility
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and financial reporting platforms
• Ability to partner with senior leadership and translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; internal transfers possible for visa holders

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenues, liabilities, inventory, and performance metrics to develop forecasts and support strategic planning
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of proposals, investments, and operational performance to identify efficiency and cost improvements
• Lead forecast consolidation activities with timely, accurate projections aligned to objectives
• Provide financial support for pricing by evaluating cost, profitability, and risk
• Manage headcount and compensation reporting for workforce cost transparency
• Prepare and present P&L, balance sheet, forecasts, and executive summaries for leadership
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls across reporting activities
• Partner with leaders to assist budget development and respond to regulatory changes
• Lead complex financial projects, drive process improvements, coach junior staff
• Collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders as needed
