Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities.
• Deep understanding of the foundation funding environment and ability to build strong cases for support that align with funder priorities.
• Proven record of success in cultivating and growing funder relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure strategic philanthropic partnerships that advance our mission to close the play equity gap.
• Identify and secure six- and seven-figure grants to reach communities at scale.
• Secure seven-to-eight figure revenue through cultivation of key foundation relationships.
• Write and deliver compelling grant proposals and reports to funders; identify new prospects.
• Stay abreast of philanthropic trends and identify funding opportunities in collaboration with public and private sectors.
• Collaborate with KaBOOM! colleagues to secure funding that supports organizational goals and growth.
