Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Forensic Technology Manager to lead digital forensics, data analytics, and eDiscovery matters. You will identify, preserve, collect, analyze, and report electronically stored information, manage project workstreams, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver defensible, client-focused work.

The role requires strong digital forensics knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, required
• Five (5) or more years of digital forensics, forensic technology, eDiscovery, or incident response experience, required
• Experience preparing reports, affidavits, declarations, or other defensible documentation of findings, required
• Two (2) or more relevant industry certifications such as EnCE, CCE, ACE, GCFE, GCFA, CCPA, or comparable credentials, strongly preferred
• Proficiency with core forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, or comparable platforms, required
• Experience with Google Vault, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, or related administrative consoles, preferred
• Experience with Axiom, TD2U devices, mobile collections, cloud collections, or other forensic acquisition tools, preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of digital forensics and eDiscovery trends and tools
• Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Manages multiple forensic technology matters across a portfolio of clients
• Develops and manages project plans, timelines, and workflows
• Explains technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Oversees the use of core forensic tools and supports matter strategy with data insights
• May provide day-to-day guidance and review work products for quality
