Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an Analyst – Floor Planning to maintain store space productivity and provide fact-based recommendations for space reallocations. You will analyze performance, collaborate with space planning teams, and influence partners to optimize regional store layouts and DNA profiles.

The role focuses on developing seasonal floorplans, forecasting heat maps, and coordinating with multiple teams to uphold the Dick's Corporate image and drive key objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field.
• 3-5 years of total experience.
• Experience in retail space planning or store design preferred.
• Experience in retail merchandising, store management, buying or inventory management is a plus.
• Experience utilizing JDA Intactix Suite -Space, Floor, IKB.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience using a business intelligence platform.
• Proficient in MS Excel; some VBA skills preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Space and Layout practices.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Strong communication both verbal and written.
• Strong Negotiation and Influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop store specific seasonal/quarterly overview floorplans in support of company financial plans.
• Create ad-hoc analysis to react to trends and adjust overview plans to optimize space productivity.
• Coordinate with space and floor planning teams for new stores, remodels, and prototypes; create forecast heat maps.
• Analyze performance metrics to drive sales and improve store productivity; surface risks and opportunities.
• Influence business partners with sound analysis and impacts.
• Support Space Planning Manager with ad hoc projects; deliver actionable analyses.
• Complete each overview floorplan draw cycle for a region; ensure accuracy and efficiency.
