Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an Analyst - Floor Planning to manage store space productivity and provide data-driven recommendations for regional space reallocations aligned with our corporate objectives.

You will develop seasonal overview floorplans, run ad-hoc analyses, and collaborate with space planning, retail integration and store operations to optimize layout, protect brand presentation, and drive sales and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/merchandising or operations.
• 3-5 years of total experience in retail or space planning.
• Experience with space planning or store design preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel; VBA skills helpful.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop store-specific seasonal/quarterly overview floorplans aligned with financial plans.
• Create ad-hoc analyses to forecast trends and optimize space productivity.
• Coordinate with space planning teams for new stores, remodels, and prototypes.
• Analyze performance metrics to drive sales and store productivity.
• Present insights to stakeholders to influence business decisions.
• Support Manager of Space Planning with ad hoc projects.
