The City of Fayetteville is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the consolidated municipal vehicle fleet and direct procurement, maintenance and disposal activities. You will develop fleet policies, manage budgets, and supervise staff to ensure safe, cost-effective operations for city departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, four years of related experience with at least two years in supervision, and strong communication skills. NAFA certification is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Certified Automotive Fleet Manager certification from NAFA Fleet Management Association preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including public presentations.
• Experience with fleet and fuel management software programs.

Mansioni

• Oversee and manage the city’s consolidated vehicle fleet.
• Develop and administer policies and objectives for fleet operations.
• Plan procurement, maintenance and disposal of vehicles and equipment for city departments.
• Develop procedures for operation of vehicle maintenance shop and depreciation planning.
• Review bids and manage procurement based on life cycle costs.
