Job summary

Armstrong Group in the United States is seeking a Fleet Strategy & Operations Manager to develop and execute the fleet strategy and drive performance across a fleet of roughly 1,000 vehicles. You will partner with leadership, leverage analytics and financial analysis to optimize utilization and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include fleet strategy, analytics, financial planning, technology and data management, and leading strategic projects with vendors and manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, analytics, operations management, or fleet management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including modeling, dashboard development, and data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills to query and transform large datasets.
• Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance analysis and reporting.
• Experience developing KPIs, scorecards, and executive reporting.
• Strong project management and business case development capabilities.
• Fleet or transportation industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fleet strategy and vehicle lifecycle management.
• Partner with leaders to align fleet resources with operations.
• Create long-term replacement and capital planning strategies.
• Develop KPIs and executive dashboards; present data-driven recommendations.
• Conduct ROI/NPV analyses; support budgeting and capital planning.
• Lead data management, reporting structures, and analytics initiatives.
• Lead strategic projects, vendor relationships, and technology implementations.
